J River audio engine is not used [solved]
« on: May 30, 2013, 08:16:01 am »

Hi Matt, I am using version 191. When I press play, the player does not respond. I checked the audio path. It said that "Not using J River audio engine". How do I solve the problem?

Please double-check your audio settings in Options > Audio.

ASIO as usual. Still using mytek dac. I just changed the library from NAS to external portable WD hard disk. Shouldn't be a problem. Don't know why?

I'm using a Mytek here without issue.

When I'm out of ideas, I recommend power cycling the computer and DAC.  It helps surprisingly often.

Problem solved. Seems to be related to the usb output of my notebook computer. Now is running smoothly. Thanks for prompt response.
