New network drive and Album Art issue
« on: June 14, 2013, 11:53:09 am »

I have finally decided that my external hard drive needed replacement so I have purchased a Seagate network hard drive and plugged it into my hub.
Most of my music folders on my old USB connected external drive (I guess like most) contained both the MP3 files and Jpg's of Album Art. Mostly the album art had been added to the MP3's properly using the Cover Art option, either from the Album Art or from the Internet.
This still left the folders with just the MP3 and a couple of Album Art Jpgs.

But

When I have copied folders over to the network drive each individual folder still looks the same, but a sub folder with a name like 983db650f7f79bc8e87d9a3ba418aefc has been created with what appears to be a copy of the Album Art.

Is this normal, can it be prevented from happening as it is apparently just duplications?
