"filefolder()" expression not working on import
« on: July 17, 2013, 12:58:01 pm »

Hi jriver team,

I'm ripping my dvd collection with MAKEMKV. It names all files title0?.mkv (replace "?" with a number), and assigns the name of the movie to the folder.

So I tried adding the filefolder()-expression to the Names-field when importing movies but the title in the tag remains "title0?". If I delete the info in the name-field and import again, it remains empty.

Therefore I hope some of you may be able to help :-).

Best regards,
Mikkel

There may be an automated way to do this, but honestly, it was easiest for me to just rip the movie to mkv then manually (using windows explorer) just change the "title 0" to the name of the movie. The MC automatically finds the correct cover art and tag info.
