Does Netflix use whatever IE is installed on the system or an internal MC browser?  I am getting occasional stutter while watching Netflix via MC.  Would this be effected/helped by a browser update (I updated Silverlight already)?  When they switch to HTML5 will MC be able to take advantage of it?  Thanks.

You can use the IE installed on the system or the Chromium engine we've supported (recent, but not cutting edge).

No idea what HTML5 will do.  What's the DRM in that model?

I'm not sure what it will do either but hope it will provide smooth playback since Silverlight won't be involved.

It would be so nice if Netflix would let us play the content natively with our full audio engine, madVR, etc.

I think it's unlikely to ever happen.

I use Netflix almost daily, and I am not seeing the shutter you mention. I think the issue is going to be with your network connection or settings.
I wish there was a way to download the content and play through MC engine, but for now, the content is playing back properly on my set up (IE10 and latest Silverlight).

My network is solid but it certainly could be a wrong setting somewhere.

By the way, I'm not getting any communication of watched status to/from the Netflix website (MC doesn't indicate that a show was watched on a different Netflix device and doesn't update the watched status on the website when a show is watched through MC).  Is this to be expected?
