Sure I had the sub working previously, now I've finally got another pair of speakers and started listening to a few bits again but the sub doesn't seem to be working.

I have the jrss mixing on and stereo sources mixed to 2.1 on, room correction is on with all the crossovers set how I want, but when playing music nothing comes from the sub.

Also I have an Asus HDAV1.3, should I be using ASIO, or WASAPI?

Ok, a reinstall of the drivers (tried the uni drivers, but they didn't work) and it's to work again.

Use Windows sound app or the Asus app to test the speakers themselves.  IE, either utility should allow you to click on a speaker, including your sub, and send a signal to it for you to make sure it is working at the most basic level.  Do this right after rebooting and before running MC.
