Ripping TV Show DVDs - track order
« on: August 14, 2013, 09:43:33 am »

I know when ripping bluray TV shows that the track order is not always correct and I need to check them. Is this the same for DVDs? I haven't wanted to deal with checking all the episodes after ripping with Makemkv so I have just been ripping DVDs with MC and getting the menus and all. It works fine but I'm tired of the menus and piracy warnings and just want to play the episode. So if I rip with Makemkv and just rename the tracks in the order they are will I be OK?

Thanks

Not sure if hou have same problem as me.  I want jriver to grab meta data based on the dvd order and not the aired date order.  For series like firefly the dvd order makes more sense.   This is an option in xbmc.  Does anyone know if it is in jriver as well?
