Subtitle location on the screen
« on: August 23, 2013, 01:02:10 pm »

Hi there,

Is there a way to set the location of subtitles (from a SRT file) on the screen?

Thanks!

I tried it and I couldn't move the subtitles to the black bars at the bottom of the screen. The subtitles can be placed only inside the picture.

Indeed, this never worked for me neither (unlike for instance PotPlayer)

Subtitles are rendered by the video renderer.  With EVR (the default video renderer), only the movie area of the screen is actually renderer area (due to bugs in black bar handling with EVR).

In PotPlayer I use EVR (Custom) too however I am able to move subtitles wherever I want there...
