Scan meta dat for tv shows in DVD order instead of air date

Is there anyway to configure JRiver to grab meta data for tv shows in the DVD order and not aired date?

The TV database which JRiver uses provides both.

DVD order is important - especially for shows like Firefly where the aired order is a mess.

I know it can be done manually but that is a PITA.
