The perils of keeping current
New in this version...I no longer can detect a CD-R drive. The detect button does not produce anything, beyond a box saying "Please wait while the program detects your CD writing". The "CD Writer", "Write Speed", and "Use generic driver" are all greyed out.
I can't be sure of the one or two previous beta versions as I did not test this, but I am 100% sure it worked normally before that.
Howver, device manager, aspi, and other CD-R software (CDRWin & Nero) all see the drive, which is a SCSI Panasonic/Matsushta 7502, and the other software can access it.

Just for completeness, I tried changing to the new Adaptec ASPI for XP. Same problem as above.
