JRiver Media Center 19 get locked [solved]
« on: August 27, 2013, 09:06:17 pm »

Hi,

It's me again. I did posted this problem once using MC18. Now is the same with MC19.
I run the program, then I play an album and while is playing, I try to select other track to add it in Playing Now.
The program get locked still playing. Then it's necessary to end the task to stop it.

I've been using Media Center since MC8 or so.
I'm a heavy user of MC17 for my videos and over my 100.000 files of music. Never with serious problem.

Enclosed is the log of the failure some moments ago.

Thanks.

Sorry about the trouble.

The log is a little mysterious.  It's like you've reset it or something during the run.

So guessing a little, try:
1) Disabling the TiVo server
2) Unplugging any handheld devices
3) Playing something other than WMV (to see if the issue could be Windows Media specific)

Please let us know what you learn.

Hi,

This time it works a bit better... I was capable to play another album, interrupting the one is being played.
. disabled TiVo
. No handheld
. I've never get to play wmv (video)... only audio: MP3
. I correct something about the sound: I use SPDIF output 24-bit integer (the same in MC17)
. Before any test I reset the log

Enclosed this time log

That sounds like the problem with Chrome.

Try changing the internal browser from Chromium to Internet Explorer in:

Tools->Options->Tree & View->Web Browser->Engine

Worked for me and several other people - example at:

So it seems ...

Watching the point you mentioned, I've done a couple of corrections:
- The one you mentioned (not to use chromium)
- And I've corrected the codes I'm using.
Now it seems working well... I'll test it more in deep tomorrow

Thanks for your help
