Reel-to-reel? I still have one. A TEAC A-2300SX 7" model. Had it for almost 30 years. I wanted the 10" 4 track model but couldn't afford it. My problem is finding blank tapes. I have one on order from Radio Shack. $13 for an 1800' reel. Ridiculous. That is equivalent to a C-90 cassette at 7-1/2" per second. With the old heads, that's the only way to get good sound but it sure goes through tape.

I too converted some tapes from my old REVOX reel to reel using MJ, you will love the
ability to split tracks when recording from the line input. And as Zevele already said
if you have tons of tracks to organize, MJ is great.

So the bottom line: Definetely Yes, MJ is worth Buying.
