No Vegas this year and probably never again
« on: September 10, 2013, 05:39:22 pm »

Every Thanksgiving my wife & I have been going to Vegas or San Diego (alternate).  Last year was the last straw for Vegas.  Walking on the strip and I nearly ended up in jail (or worse).

For some stupid reason I view handing porn to my wife the equivalent of calling her a person.  I realize that isn't the intent, but it's an insult.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, try walking the strip some time.  The stripper (and more) clubs pay a zillion guys to hand out flyers that leave little to nothing to the imagination.

They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas; but me pounding some fool handing out porn flyers for a "gentleman's club"  would most likely result in me staying in Vegas for an extended time (and not in a hotel on the strip).  So no more Vegas.

I agree.  I've seen those guys, even with children around.  The sidewalk is littered with pictures.

This is nothing new; its been happening for at least 40 years.  In fact, it used to be much, much worse.  Hookers walked the streets and actively approached and harassed people in cars at stop lights or passing by.  Not just Fremont St., but the Strip and all the other main drive streets.  Good times.

Yet, it should be no surprise with the moniker of Sin City, built on mob money, catering to the foolish and the naughty.  Boo ya!
