Can we have MC automatically analyse the audio when a TV show is recorded?

You can see from a later post that by observation, I've satisfied myself that auto audio analysis is happening somewhere, somehow before a recorded programme is watched.
I'd repeat the request for some official explanation on how the software works in this regard.

Looking more carefully it looks like the Peak Level etc are present. When does this analysis take place?
