Keyboard shortcuts problem
« on: September 16, 2013, 02:49:48 pm »

I have media shortcuts on my keyboard: play, pause, next, previous etc.  They don't do anything in MC19. They worked fine in 18. Is there an option I haven't found yet?  MC19 is set as my default for all audio and video files.  The shortcuts work in all other media players (WMP, VLC etc)

I am running Win8 Pro and the keyboard is a Logitech Illuminated Keyboard.

We've had problems with windows 8 and Logitech before.  Are you using any Logitech software?  It looks like Logitech might offer something called "SetPoint"?

Yeah, got that installed.  It doesn't offer me much tbh, just screen notifications of caps lock etc.  Should I uninstall it?

Logitech's software isn't needed to run on Windows, and it has caused problems in the past.

No, I know it wasn't 'needed', but I kinda like the screen notifications, so that's why I installed it.  Could easily live without it tho, if it makes MC19 work better.  Will try getting rid and see if that sorts it.
