Has something happened to the Get Movie and TV info option in MC17?

About a week ago I notice the Get Movie info option would not log onto TMDB.  Now it doesn't log onto any of the data bases.  I note that my install of MC18 gets movie info fine.

I don't discount that there may be a problem with my MC17 install.  I note that the update channel also seems not to be working. Are these dropped feature in MC17 because the program is no longer supported?  If I have to move to MC18 I will but I actually prefer MC17.

Can someone advise if MC17 no longer supports the Get Movie info option or is it just me?

Yes, TMDb stopped working with MC17 some weeks ago.
Rotten Tomatoes and Wikipedia still work for me, but the info (and coverart) is not that great in most cases.
This (and the possibility to disable MC18's "Car Radio" ) were the reasons for me to update to MC19.
