LINKS no longer open the websites as they should (and did) until the last two builds or so. This is whether I click them on the top bar or use the right-click links.

OK, they work inside MC (open in new tab) and if I change my default browser to Chrome the links work in my browser, change to Firefox and they no longer work.

That sounds like a change in your system, or a change in Firefox, because I doubt very much anyone at JRiver was doing anything at all with the Links recently.  ;)
