I notice that on-the-fly conversion to DSD128 requires an ASIO driver. Why, where would I find one and would it interfere with core audio and other music programs?

ASIO is not required or utilized on Mac, if the documentation mentioned ASIO, it must have been referring to the Windows version of MC.

It is mentioned in Tools>Options>Output Format>Output Coding, but it is obviously left over from Win version.
