Problem with Folders?
« on: October 09, 2013, 03:49:47 pm »

Hi: Just bought JRiver a couple of day’s ago.Great program thoroughly enjoying using/setting it up!!! Have a question, for my “Show” Folder on my PC I have a single folder with the series name and inside that folder are the season # so for example the Flintstones are labeled “The Flintstones” and inside that folder is another folder named season 1(no other info is included) the other season’s are set up the same way. When I open the program I do not “see” the main folder or any sub folders with the individual seasons what am I doing wrong thanks!!! Sorry about the long post wanted to explain properly!!LOL!   :-[

You'll want to point Auto-Import (Tools > Import) to your Show folder.

If MC understands the filenames, it'll automatically have the correct series, season, etc. for the files.

Then, you can find them under Video > Shows in Standard View or Theater View.

If files are not getting categorized automatically, could you provide a full filename (path + name + extension)?

Thanks.
