Enter complex data in a field
« on: October 10, 2013, 08:42:30 am »

I want to enter the following in the "Conductor" field: "[Band] - [Album]". How do I do that in one fell swoop?

Awesome. I'm using this so that I can eventually create a playlist that shuffles full albums, including compilations and splits.

How would I create this list so that I can shuffle full albums. I want to hear a full album or a full compilation cover to cover, then automatically go on to the next one.

How many full albums do you want?

You might be able to do what you want with a smartlist.  For example, this smartlist will return 5 random albums with each album grouped, but with randomly ordered tracks within an album:

   [Media Type]=[audio] ~limit=5,-1,[Album Artist (auto)],[Album] ~seq ~sort=[Album Artist (auto)],[Album],[Sequence]
