CD rip to FLAC

Just installed and registered the purchased key number of JRiver Media Center 18 for Mac.
When I put in the CD into the drive I get the notice: "Failed to create CD manager control"
The main aim to install MC 18 was to rip my CDs to FLAC format.
Can anybody help me?
