My audio device is EMU 1212m (PCI) and the OS is win7.
I used the ASIO audio output mode.

I encounter a problem that every time after I played a file (audio or video), I cannot using any other program to play audio but I can still play audio using MC18.
I used the testing program provided by windows to test my audio device. It would show a message that the device is preempt by other application.

I need to do a hardware reset (function provided by EMU patch-mix DSP, need to reboot) to solve this problem.
It seems like that MC18 directly access my audio device but not release the resource after I close the program.

I don't know this problem is caused by the device driver or the MC18, since my sound card is a very old one that there is no a specified driver for win7.

Is there solutions for this problem?
It is quite inconvenient that I have to reboot every time I use MC18.
