Author Topic: firewalled XP machine shutdown during purchase process, rebooting  (Read 759 times)

I'm using a business environment router with my XP home machine, double firewalled etc.
When I decided to purchase the upgrade, my computer shutdown  a  bit after the "click-to-process",
blanking out just as the "receiving key" flashed.    I stupidly tried it again after rebooting,
and most likely have purchased two copies, with NO RECEIVED KEY.
I'm going to call my credit card company and cancel both transactions.  I have no interest in purchasing
through another machine, transferring files etc.   The purchase process SHOULD HAVE clearly warned people
of this probability.....and the whole thing detracts from an otherwise nice product. I should not have to
find out about this glitch after the fact. Period. AND..........the company should offer more than this for
customer support.

You were not charged for either purchase.

Contact me if you still want to buy. gateley@jriver.com

Anton,
If you are still interested (and it sounds like you aren't) you might try the latest build of 8.0.  It's available in beta in another thread here.

You can also buy a license on one machine (not firewalled) and transfer it to another.  Details are in the FAQ under Help above.
