"Failed to Initialize Registration Contol" message

MJ8.0.217 worked fine for me. Tonight I downloaded build 222 and tried to install as I usually do without uninstalling a previous build. When trying to run I got the message "Failed to initialize registration control."

Tried all of this again with the same result. Uninstalled MJ, then tried to install build 217. Again I get the same message "Failed to initialize registration control.

Do I have to do anything to the registry to correct this situation? Any help will be appreciated.

256m ram

Try a complete uninstall, reboot, and install of 222.

A couple of changes were made to the registration system, and if the files didn't get properly updated, you'll get this message.
