Are JRemote and Library Server functional on MAC?
« on: November 02, 2013, 08:25:55 am »

1. I tried a MAC version last Summer? and we could not get JRemote to connect to the library server, does it work now?

2. Also, can you run an instance of MC on Windows and have it be a client connecting to a MAC-based Library Server?

My friend is interested in trying one of my Audio-client PCs, so before I mail it, I'm curious if these features are stable now..

thanks

I happen to have been using JRemote very regularly since JRiver 18 for Mac. It runs pretty solid if you set it up right. Though like any media server software you eventually (but not very often) have to restart the media server in the JRiver app if it crashes. Your other question I have no idea as I only have JRiver for Mac.

I use JRemote all the time with MC19 and no problems.
