Having issues setting this up on a fresh install.
Channel offset 0 seems to put the center as the left rear.
1 Seems to put the right rear
2 Seems close, but I'm sure the rears are fronts and vice versa.
3 and 4 get rears out of the fronts and nothing else
5 and 6 playback won't work
Everything works fine when the speakers are tested on the asus control panel, ie speakers have been connected properly.
Also the volume doesn't work?
JRiver's default channel order is L, R, C, LFE, RL, RR, SL, SR, which is the 7.1 standard. If your HDAV1.3 uses a different channel order, that might be the problem. The reason I ask is that I have a similar card, an Asus Essence ST with H6 add on, and its output plugs are labelled in the wrong order. If that's your problem, you have two options: switch the cables so that the channel ordering matches the standard, or change the order of the channels in JRiver by using the Parametric Equalizer DSP module "Order Channels" to match the outputs of your soundcard.
