Channel mapping with HDMI/Alsa

Thought I would post this out here, just so you guys can see that some changes are coming in 3.13 for HDMI/Alsa, not sure if it's applicable to MC or not.  There is a small discussion going on with what to do, seems like you guys have already crossed that bridge.
