537 Visitors Today -- a record but Why?

The stats page shows that we had 537 simultaneous visitors on Interact today at some time.  That's about triple the usual number.  The previous record was around 315.

Anybody have any idea why?

It could be robots, I guess.  Or aliens.

The most visitors has been 405 for the last couple of months. It was 3xx for a long time prior to hitting 405.  No idea how popular MC is with the off planet market.
