DAC missing after a crash
« on: November 12, 2013, 09:04:14 pm »

I'm on Maverics, all updates up to today, System config:

After the 19.0.72 version crashed, MC lost knowledge about the available hardware and I did not find how to reset it. The device selector is empty, showing checkmark when clicked - yet no effect. It came back after installing 19.0.74 - until the next crash, when exact same problem happened - no devices. So two problems:

1. I want my DAC back ::) OSX sees it fine and plays everything on it. MC does not see any sound output device and does not allow to set it's options. See the attached screenshot:

I assume it is a simple config wipe I need to do - but which files?

2. Do not remember what caused the first crash. The second one on .74 version happened after I added one song to Playing now (last in the album) and then attempted to bulk add multi-selected rest of the album. Baaam! Can't repeat it though, as MC currently refuses to play with "Something went wrong with playback" feedback.

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure why it's not showing your DAC.  Maybe you could attach or send a log file to us.

Do not know if any personal info in the log, so sent the log in an individual message.
