I'm looking through the Ubuntu/Unity (libunity) developer documentation to see if there's anything. If I find anything, I'll post it. However, I did find something you might be interested in...

No problem. It should also help with stacking windows (e.g. options window) within one running icon in the dash, instead of showing multiple icons in the dash.

Another little 'issue', when you go to connect a last.fm account, the default web browser with the authorize request never launches.

The "Alt Gr" key doesn't generate funny symbols anymore, but  there is no function at all now. But  for me, and other international users, the only way to enter some symbols (eg.  [, ], \ etc) is by using the key.

Not sure what's going on here. I tested it with a German Keyboard layout in Debian Wheezy i386 and Ubuntu 13.10 x64 and both worked fine.
You might try running xev and see what the keycode is for the ALT-GR on your keyboard. MC's looking for ISO_Level3

After updating to 19.0.74 I am experiencing a strange problem (running Ubuntu 13.10 x64).  It installed without errors and the first time I ran it it worked perfectly and I closed the program.  The next time I ran the program the window would not open up.  It created the second icon in the launcher but that is all it does.  I have tried closing and re-opening it, I have tried rebooting, I tried re-installing it.  Nothing works.  I reinstalled version 19.0.72 and it still works well.  Anyone else have this happen?  I don't think I changed any settings but I am not positive so it is possible that I changed a setting that is causing this.

But it feels like the AltGr-key is not recognized at all, or the extended chars were downgraded to the lower bits, because when I press any combination, only the basic symbol is displayed (eg. AltGr + 9 will display only the 9, not the "]"). This happens only in mediacenter, all other applications work fine.

in addition: I can use all the special chars like ö,Ä (probably you can't display those unless you change to german language). But when it comes down to the symbol translation via the "Alt Gr" (the right Alt key at your keyboard), I see only the basic chars. It feels like this key is not active at all. e.g.: instead seeing  the ASCII 5d (]), I seen the number 9.

On Ubuntu 13.10 x64 (Unity) using the On Disk (external) menu item under Locate doesn't do anything (doesn't load up Nautilus to that location).

DSD files (dff, sacd iso) don't play, it looks like it starts playing, timerbar shows 0:00 but it never progresses.

Do you use the supplied X11 tools to manage inputs and outputs or do you bypass the standard and use your own interfaces, because the behavior is noticeable different?

I noticed some odd behaviour when trying to do that keypmapping by window, probably as a result of the way we are doing windows.
