Any instructional books or guides available to help with tagging?

I haven't done any tagging in JRiver yet but I would be interested also on guides to tagging. I checked the JRiver Wiki but didn't see anything in the index for metadata or tags.

I am also curious if I make metadata changes in JRiver would those tags be updated in iTunes (as I use both at different times). I know when I make them in iTunes it updates in JRiver.
