Recycle Bin

Why is auto import looking in the recycle bins of drives? It's a bin!!!

Well it did... A nas drive with a recycle bin. does that make a difference?

Hidden and system folders are ignored when auto-import searches.

You might double-check the status of the recycle bin folder.  Maybe it's left-over from another OS install or something?

It's a NAS drive. Quite likely it's own Recycle Bin is not recognised as a Windows bin, rather just as another folder where files are moved to before final deletion.

Is there a way to get auto-import to ignore it? I can't delete it as I like the NAS undelete function.

You can specify folders which are excluded in Auto-Import. If you have Auto Import for X:\, simply add an exclusion rule for X:\Recycle Bin

Or set the system & hidden attribute on the folder? MC will automatically ignore it.
