If you're running the trial there's nothing else to download.

To purchase: "When you choose "Buy" from within the program, your browser will open to a purchase page on the JRiver web site (we recommend using IE). Enter your information, and click ONCE on the "Purchase button". When your credit card is authorized, you will see a page with your new “Registration Code” and a link. Save the Registration Code some place safe. " (from http://jriver.com/purchase.html)

The opportunity to buy comes up on a splash screen when you launch the trial.

HaHA!  its been so long I forget  :D  I don't have the Mac version, but there should be a "splash screen"  when you open the program. Or maybe, on the top menu bar look under Help=>Registration Info.

Sorry, once you buy it disappears  :)

Go to Media Center menu: Help / Buy Media Center...
You can install it on multiple computers you own.

A G5 is a PowerPC (RISC) which will not run x86 code so no, that won't work.
