"ASIO Line In" compatibility with Windows XP ?

Hi,

Is ASIO Line In  (  File > Open Live > ASIO Line In ) supposed to work ( in MC19 ) on a computer running XP Pro SP3 ?

- Any ASIO driver chosen ( from within the dialogue box ) crashes the program no matter if the accompanying sound-card is connected & running  .

- The same ( ASIO Line IN ) feature ( Open url... > live://asio )  in MC17 works just fine .

PS 1 : The "Wiki Help Pages" & a search of "Interact" shed no light on this question ( after searching for "ASIO Line IN" ) .

PS 2 : Also, during this test  MC19  was set to route audio to the lap-tops builtin audio card .

This will be fixed next build:
Fixed: ASIO line-in playback could crash.
