CD Rips Failing part way through
« on: January 06, 2014, 08:08:29 pm »

Hi,

I am running the latest Media Center software on a Dell PC, Core i5 with 64-bit Win7
The first 100 or so CDs I ripped went smoothly. I'm ripping in secure mode 4x to uncompressed aiff format.

Today, Media Center will be okay to rip one or two tracks from a CD then it will create a new folder for a track and then the encoding engine fails. If I go to explorer and delete the wrongly created folder and try to re-rip the remaining tracks it will rip properly. I changed the naming convention for Filename rule to just [Name] but that hasn't provided any improvement in the situation.

Any suggestions?

thanks
John

19.0.102 had a ripping problem.  19.0.103 has a fix for it.  It's at the top of this board.
