MJ supports Winamp 2 plugins, so MJ should already work with FLAC files.

And other lossless encoders have higher efficiencies than FLAC, so you may want to look around.

He's too polite to recommend Monkey's Audio (APE).  You can find the encoder on our plugins pages.

I'm sorry, I read right over the "encoder" word in your question.

If there becomes enough demand for FLAC encoding, we'll add support.
