uploading files to Nomad Jukebox  Zen
« on: February 24, 2003, 09:37:04 pm »

I have tried right clicking on an artist/album and using send to device Nomad Zen. Sometimes it ends up in a queue and then I can hit upload and all is well. More often I just see a playlist of songs and I can't upload to my MP3 player. Please advise.

There are two ways to get your files to your Nomad Zen with MJ. You can either right-click and select "Send-T0" or you can drag and drop the files to the appropriate location. If you do drag and drop, you can drop the files either on the Nomad Jukebox icon or on a Playlist you have created (in MC9 you also have the ability to auto synch your files).  After the files are directed to the Nomad, you need to click on the Nomad Jukebox icon and then you will have the ability to select "Upload" to send the files or "Options" if you want to set up any conversion or normalization of the files.

I hope this helps. If not, please elaborate on what you mean when you say "More often I just see a playlist of songs".
