'Party mode' is inaccessible.
« on: February 12, 2014, 11:18:23 am »

In my Media Jukebox, the help contents says there is a 'party mode', accessible via the View menu. But there is no such option there. Was this feature taken out of the application? Do I have to install some seperate plug-in to get it? It would be very useful to secure my library files from deletion or other mistakes at the times when there are various people around.
This is at least concerning version 12, which I'm still running, partly because the newer version is missing the tempo and pitch DSP effects. Wonder why those weren't included. How do I get this in MJ? Do I have to download them as plugin?

It would be an MC feature.

It's reserved esclusively for Media Center now?
I'm certain it at least used to be part of MJ.

Media Jukebox has not been updated since July 15, 2010.  I don't recall all the changes made prior to that (in between v12 and v14).  Suffice it to say, if you don't see it, it isn't there.

Toss JRiver a bone - go for MC19.  So much has improved since 2010, its worth every penny.
