Unable to reinstall MC 18 (I have MC 19 too)

Yes I have MC18 installed, it is just the license which it says is not valid.
What does 18 have that 19 does not have, if anything?

I find that drag and drop only works in 18. In 19 when I drag files from finder there is no green + sign.
