Volume control
« on: February 19, 2014, 01:35:43 pm »

Hi I wonder if something changed with Volume control in JRiver? I used to have the volume set to Internal, so that JRiver attenuated independently from Windows volume. But now using either Interal or Application option both are linked to the Windows volume and mixer.

BTW I am using ASIO, which is supposed to be direct without Windows mixer, right?

Thanks.

I think some ASIO drivers use the system volume control.
You might want to try WASAPI Exclusive.
