JRiver and Mytek
« on: March 04, 2014, 07:33:07 pm »

I am looking for a single thread discussing that Mytek and JRiver setting for best possible sound quality. I tried searching this forum but answers are all over the place that it is becoming difficult for less IT savvy people like myself.

To moderator, is there anyway that you can reorganize the thread so that we have separate thread for different DAC.

Thanks.

If you don't find what you need here, Mytek should be able to help.

The wiki has topics on audio that may help.

HdSd and Internal Sync
« Reply #2 on: March 05, 2014, 06:43:55 am »

Since I disabled my pc internal soundcard Mytek displays HdSd for all aif and wav files. The USBPAL sample rate automatically sets to the highest 5644.800kHz. However, whenever I play dff or dsf files Mytek display correctly shows DSD. I have no complains about the sound. Perfect with no clicks or pops.

My setting and system:-

1) Windows 8.1
2) USBPAL 1.34. USB2.0 connection.
3) Mytek Firmware is 1.7.6 Upsampling disabled. Filter- PCM slow, DSD 50
4) MC 19 - Audio device Mytek ASIO - Output Format 2x DSD in native - Bitstreaming DSD.

Earlier with the soundcard enabled Mytek would always show Internal sync. Is there something wrong with my settings?

Thanks
