"logical unit not ready long write in progress"

I'm getting this message as MC19 latest version fails to burn an audio CD.

What does it mean? Is there a process for getting rid of it and allowing me to burn my audio CDs again?

Does it still occur if you reboot and try again with fresh media?  Do you have any software running like AnyDVD that takes control of the optical drives?  If so, maybe try disabling it temporarily.

Thanks for your help John - you've been very helpful with my CD burning issues over many years now.

Neither rebooting nor fresh media did any good. But uninstalling MC19 and reinstalling it made the error message go away.

Happy again now...

Glad you got it working again.  Optical drives can be rather finicky sometimes.
