Copying files to "CD and Handhelds"
« on: February 23, 2003, 09:58:20 am »

Hi.
I purchased MJ only a couple of days ago, and may still have missed a point or two, but: I use a Creative Muvo 128 for listening to music while walking the dog etc. AFAIK, it should be pretty simple, just to drag the marked files to the icon of the Muvo in the left hand panel. So that's what I do, but nothing happens. Any idea what I do wrong?

go down and click on the device and it should show them in the Que.

when all the files you need are in que, then press upload it will send the files to the device.

you can also set settings to re-encode to alower bit rate if you wish.

Thanks. I found it. Great device, but there must be something wrong: Copying an mp3 file of 3:14 minutes, bitrate 192, took almost three and a half minute! Any suggestion?

okvaal,

Email me at steve @ jriver.com and I will email you a file to test to see if you can improve your speed with MJ 8. What I will send you is incorporated in MC 9.
