Good to hear that improvements may be on the horizon. Looking forward to trying the next build.

Thanks

Wow!! now it`s soooo smooth....

90% of times the movement is perfect and fluid.
Sometimes there is a very slight remainder of the problem, but I have to pay attention to see it (something like what you have described initially, maybe 1 frame drop).
It works equally well in my two PC`s  (Intel HD4600 and HD3000).

And you have future improvements....  :)

Thanks, thanks, thanks

Hi there. As Félix has reported the issue is vastly improved. Slight remainder of the problem but not enough to induce nausea  ;) Good work guys

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate this fix too! This is really great. Even my older laptop are now moving totally smooth in Theater View.
JRiver made a good choice by adding you to the team :) Looking forward to more magic!

Hi:

For me, the last build (19.0.136) has resolved the problem.

The only thing that keeps it from a perfectly fluid interface is that last moment small hiccup (a 1 step enlargement) when switching to a cover. It only happens when the new cover is really various overlapped covers (genre or artist category), with normal covers the motion is perfect.
This is only a minor problem and I only mention it for when you have time to seek the perfection.

Anyway, now the use of the Theater View is a really enjoyment.  ;)

Thanks

Since Media Center 19.0.141: Changed: Reverted a change from 19.0.136 that caused Theater View artwork to fail on old Intel GPUs, I am experiencing again the little flickers in Theater View 3D Cover flow.

I have observed the iGPU clock in Theater View 3D stays at 600 MHz (same as idle) with a load of 45%, so I imagine the peak in GPU load is brief.

Maybe a solution is to increase a little the iGPU clock.
Does exist a method to do this?
In the BIOS I can only change the iGPU max. frequency, but not the base freq.

If not, will you consider to implement a switch to select between the two modes?

Intel platforms:
O Older Intel GPU.
O Newer Intel GPU.
