Filename Rule for Audio Conversions
« on: March 14, 2014, 12:17:51 am »

How can I define the Filename Rule for aucio conversions?

I am converting tracks included in my playlists to MP3 files so I can take them on an SD card for my mobile phone.

The originals are in various formats (ape, flac, iso , sacd etc) and their file names are too long to show on my car dashboard screen, so I would like to have them named [Track #]-[Name]-[Artist] or something.
Even though this is the setting I have in Options/File Locations/Audio/Filename Rule , the resulting MP3 files in the new single directory are named like their losless parents but with an .mp3 extension....
Am I missing something?

You can't.  Rename them after the conversion.
