All of my TV shows seem to record completely. But most if not all movies I set to record from the HD movie channels only record about 25 to 35 MB. I have no idea why. Recording in TS. any ideas?

Excuse the Australian based ignorance combined with a Scrooge-like budget approach to TV but I get shows and movies (SD/HD) over FTA broadcast. I see no distinction between movies and shows other than length of recording time.

I record in .ts.

MC19 was improved recently to better recognise movies and tag them correctly that has helped with library management.

In short, MC works fine for me.

Are you possibly dealing with a copyright protection / DRM issue?

Gee, I guess that's possible. But how do i determine that? Plus, I have 6-7 other movies that recorded fine but that was a month or so ago.

I have recently seen a couple of recordings ending too early.  It does not seem to relate to whether it is movie or not.  I am investigating.

Which build of MC are you using?  Are you seeing this problem only recently?

Using the most recent.

It worked in February. But not last 6 weeks or so.  TV shows are ok. Movies dont record successfully.

On 16 March, using MC19.0.122 (Win 8.1 x64) I recorded "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" FTA via DVB-T to .ts with a recording length of 2 hours and 37 minutes.

I'm not experiencing your problem.

The latest build available is MC19.0.121.

I have identified bug.  This bug would cause a recording to be cut short under the following conditions:

1. You record consecutive shows (does not matter whether they are movies or TV Shows) on the same channel. 
2. Your computer is configured to go to sleep automatically.

The second recording may not record to completion if the computer goes to sleep after the first recording has completed.

I do not know if your situation is the same.  Do you remember whether you recorded a show that was immediately before the start of the movie you had trouble with?

Hi Yaobing. I did update to 25 when it became available. I also just updated to 27.

Once i updated to 25 last week I scheduled 7-9 movies to be recorded. All premium channels that I once was able to record. Not one movie has recorded in full. One might be 38mb, another be only couple hundred kb. I dont get it and have no idea what to do! I have not seen anyone else mention this......or have I missed other comments?
