JRiver not recognizing my DSD files

I have Mac/Mavericks/JRiver/MyTek/FireWire

JRiver is not recocnizing, on input, my DSD miles.
It sees, on input a 44 file and outputs to DAC a 44
It sees a 96 PCM file and outputs 96
It sees a DSD and shows a 44 input and then outputs same.

Help please.

I have downloaded the latest version of JRiver/Mac from JR download page.  I have also tried the latest version made available in this forum.  Same with both applications.

In Tools-> Options -> Audio

do you have under Settings, Bitstreaming set to "DSD"?
