Global change in tag property
« on: April 16, 2014, 10:11:33 am »

I have ripped a bunch of classical CDs. However, downloaded track information is not consistent. For example, "Piano Sonata", "Sonata", "Schubert Piano Sonata" etc. Is there a way to select multiple tracks and globally change all occurrences of "Piano Sonata" to "Schubert Piano Sonata" rather than making the change track by track?

Select the tracks you want to change and use Tools → Library Tools → Find and Replace…

If its simple mass edits (ie. changing the same field in a bunch of files to the same value), you can also just select them all, press Alt+Enter to bring up the tag box, and edit in there for all files at the same time.

I am changing parts of a tag. So, "Find and Replace" is what I need.
