Audio works for a few minutes and stops

I'm just configure JRiver I'm to the point in the instructions to test a file works good for a few minutes then stops playing the track.  I have windows 7 fairly high end Dell, new Schilt dac, output to Krell integrated amp.  I've uninstalled JRiver and reloaded software several times. Downloaded program from web page and also tried from this forum.  Meticulously following setup instructions  Any help appreciated.

Did you try playing to a different device, just as a test?

I'm setting up JRiver  for the first time and am following the setup instructions meticulously and get to the step to play a file. I'm having issues with JRiver stop playing a track after a few minutes and won't allow me to start an other track and locks up my computer and I have to hard boot it as it won't restart.  I've reinstalled the program several times.  Have tested turning off the antivirus fire wall and virus scan made no differance. I'm running windows 7 on a fairly high end dell(no previous issues),Norton antivirus, Schilt gugnir dac to Krell integrated amp.
Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Something sounds off here, which is not good to read about. This is unusual.

Take a look at How to "Fix" MC if it is Hanging or Crashing and get started working through the relevant steps and report back.

Somebody like glynor may be able to target the issue from your description but a log will probably be needed and you'll be asked to check through issues in the Media Center Troubleshooting Guide anyway - in all likelihood.

Made it two whole songs before it failed, took a log.  But not sure how to attach to this post it will copy but paste is grayed out (maybe because it's a zipped file).
Also I'm  using a Maxtor 2tb external hard drive.  I just tried changing the buffer from 100 to 250 still failed.
