Floor still intact. Plaster only quivered slightly. Neighbors packing and leaving town.  ;D

Just arrived this morning. And had a quick listen to the first few songs. It will peel paint if not careful with volume on stereo.

Thank You Very Much

GREAT!

Now ,here is what i want from you:
What do you think REALLY.
Not to try to please me.
Even negative feedback would be great to bands.

There is a mix of songs out on regular cd ,or to be out soon.
And just demos ,with some work on the demo to try to get a sound  average good.

Lehavot-Nail Within from record to be out next month on french and ducht label

Arallu- Eternal Gray from auto produced cds out here

All the other bands == demo.

Two of the best and welkknow bands are not here

Salem
Orphaned Land.
Cause they are on french and german labels

You have a lot of songs from Salem on MP3.com.
At the end of this month ,they change rules. For free artists can put only 3 songs.
If you have time ,you may download the Salem songs  before the end of the month

Orphaned Land has quitte a few songs on they site -on mp3pro-
Have a look at they GREAT cover of Paradise Lost you can download.

My last metal evening was :
Herzog-Betzefer- Sitra and Lehavot

Next one:
Arallu-Azazel-Bartholemus night and two other bands not on the cds and unknow from me.

As you can see now ,a metal night is really something here.
NO prog metal and other s--t like it

Just played it now.
The end of the cd is not so good.
Sitra-Abed are another kind of metal i do not like.
And there is this dreadfull song from Azazel.
Funny enought ,in life i really do not like the leader of Azazel. Listening to it ,i can see i have good taste.

Tears of Israfel -a band i never heard of- are not that good ,but you can feel that with work they may give something really interesting. It is a new band

Another band that i think would mature very well id Herzog.
Mind you they played only 2 concerts in they life . They are 2 month old

Have been listening whenever I can get a few minutes to myself.

Bands I like so far:

Lehavoth

Nail Within

Betzefer  <--- Might just be my favorite  :-/ Not sure yet..

Herzog ---- This band could go somewhere, but is really trying too hard to be 'Gloomy'. They play very tightly (instruments) and you can hear that right away.

Sitra - Could have been the beer lastnight, but I found this one to be OK.

More later as I get around to listening to them.

Y-

I spent a lot of time the past few days listening to this in the car on the way to work. I can say with fair amount of certainty now that there are three very good tracks.

For me they are:

3) Lehavoth - They got this chug-grind (<--- beat) thing down to a science. Very forceful and well executed.

2) Betzefer - This was the one I liked upon my first listen or two. I still like it. There are some aspects that make it sound a little rough around the edges. (Considering the type of music, this might seem funny.) Which I kind of like. Gives the feel of a band really trying hard to get something done.

1) Eternal Gray - Whoa! I bet I listened to this 50 times in the past couple of days. Great production, great sound. And just a plain great song. This is my favorite of the whole bunch.

Bartholomeus Night is kind of like listening to Hell in a coffee can. Over the top for me.

Nail Within is pretty good. Just doesn't have the right combination of something for me to want to listen to it often.

Herzog isn't very understandable. But, if that is the effect they seek they achieve it with flying colors. Vocalization grunting must be popular for some, not me tho...

Sewaged. Dreadful name, but they sound like they are on the right track. I think I like them better than Herzog. But not by much....

As for the rest they just don't seem to be in the same class as the big three. It's just my opinion, don't mean much otherwise.

Thanks again.  M

Thanks to let me know.

Lehavoth are very good , live it is fantastic.. In this kind of music ,i do think they are one of the best band wolrdwide
They have the cd out in April

Betzefer is something else , they started as a punk/hardcore band and now are more of a metal/hardcore band.
Since one or two months they are more more 'ripe', i do not know how to say. A good band one day is not only a good band but a great one.
They have a new auto-produced cd out soon.
Do not know about they future because the bass is playing in Lehavoth AND Nail Inside at the same time.
And the guitarist is playing with Nail Inside.
I may help concerning the bass , but this is not the important part , the guitar is...

Eternal Grey: i like they record , but cannot say the same concerning they shows....

Nail Inside : since long i have a cdr of they album to be out  next month. This record is great , but there is something missing in the whole sound of the band , or in the spirit, i do not know. And again i cannot explain what i mean- nothing to do with english or french or papou-

Herzog : as i tell you , a young new band- only 2 concerts- they may be really good or just stay where they are: as you say in the midle of a crossroad...

Sewaged. Dreadful name..... go to they site with sound on if you do not know what bad taste is......

They are more like  a joke  by the Lehavoth drummer

Bartholomeus Night

Listening now to they auto-produced  cd ,some studio and some  live .
I like this band and live , i love them.
They are not friends of mine . Just "hello' and i do think that they take all this 'Black' Satan' s-h-i-t  at a serious level- no good-
But ,again i like them very much.

4:31 PM here ,saturday ...look like that BECAUSE of MachineHead , all the building may have a very noisy end of Shabbat.
After Bartholomeus Night, i may play the last Salem , and ,as you may know i have very very good and powerfull new stand up speakers.............

I want to read your post just after listening to the last Salem...

When i get the new Betzefer -Lehavoth and Nail Inside i
will do it  and other bands on MP3 cds and send it to you.[ i know it is a very long ago promise, but TRUST me , one day it would happen...

Good week-end to all the family- burn one log for me

NEVER DID IT BEFORE:

i have a furniture with a light on it.
The 2 speakers are on each side of the furniture and the bulb JUST BLOWS UP because of the music so loud.....

Who knows ,i may be able to buy the whole building for cheap if i keep  playing music like it.....

Listening to Salem 'Collective Demise' MASTERPIECE on the stereo system

LOL!

Reminds me of an old commercial: Is it live, or is it Memorex?

New twist: Is it live, or is it zevele to the MAX?

Watch out for flying glass. First time I've heard of needing safety glasses while listening to music!

The sounf was fantastic,trust me.
But i cannot play at this level for long.
There is other people in the building....

I am at the last floor , 2 walls external , the other two walls to other rooms in my flat.
I did built  acoutic walls on the walls i share.
Means i can play the music quite loud and not killing other people living there.
But ,yesterday the sound was the same than when they play music before concert- here they play it LOUD at metal concerts... just to much.

I have a problem with the entrance door , the sound past throught and there is music in the stairs down to the street entrance...
I am not sure about what to do : to close the very short corridor from living room to door with a sliding door or to put a curtain as they have in some hotels againts the noise.

A funny thing: of cause you do not expect me to hear the bell...........
I have a wireless bell , with the ring on the computer ..like it i hear it - well ,most of the time.......
Friends know it , when at my door ,they use they wireless phone to call me , i allways hear the phone ring
