Is it possible to reload the database by deleting the current one and re-create a new one? Thx!

Yes, expand Playing Now (upper left), tight click Playing from Main library and create a new one

Thanks I'll give that a try.  The reason I was asking is when I copied over 200 DVDs using "Beyond Compare", the app created duplicate covers and .xml files for each .VOB files.

Those files are not part of the Library.  The Library contains references to the actual files and any sidecar files.  It sounds like you need a way to clean the duplicate cover art and XML sidecars.

You're correct. Will the "clear Library" work?

Clear library means that the database files MC keeps are removed.  It's there for starting over.  It won't remove your meda files.

It's always safest to make a backup first.
